I like this location as it allowed us more variety in shots, for example, with the corridor we could have a slow motion shot of one of the band members walking away for the lyric, "step after step". This makes the viewer think about the lyrics more and have them wondering what the band is walking away from.
Also we could edit the video in a way that each band member flashes in one part of the room, then there would be a quick transition where they would be in another part of the room. This would work well as at the beginning there is a point where the music has a quick drum beat.
One of the main reason we like this location was the fact it was derelict and adds the point that they are fresh new band and will practice anywhere as they love their music so much.
As Richard said above, the glass shots are some we would use to film the band as it adds more variety to the viewer. It could also represent that fact that as you can't see the entire band member there is mystery and it keeps the viewer intrigued for their next single.
As the walls are damp and dirty we thought about possibly putting things up there to represent the band such their name, their lyrics. However we decided against this as it detracts your attention away from the band, and we want them to be the main focus.
Again, well done for adding comment to Richard's photos, BUT... You need to link this to examples you have studied by bands of a similar genre. Put more depth into your analysis of everything as well.
